Anne Heche’s sons say their mother will be buried “among her own kind” in Los Angeles’ famed Hollywood Forever Cemetery.
Omer Laffoon, 20, and Atlas Heche Tupper, 13, said the effusive kindness following their mother’s death showed them that she also belongs to “her fans” and the entertainment community.
It comes after Heche was “peacefully taken off life support” on August 14, nine days after a serious car crash that left her with a serious anoxic brain injury.

She was reportedly cremated on August 18 and will be buried in the cemetery.
“My brother Atlas and I would like to thank Tyler, Noelle and all the amazing people at Hollywood Forever for their kindness, compassion and generosity,” the boys said in a statement shared with the PA news agency through a representative.
“We are confident that our mother would love the location we have chosen for her; It’s beautiful, serene and she will be among her Hollywood peers.
“Most importantly, Hollywood Forever is a vibrant place where people attend movies, concerts and other events.
“She was our mother, but the kindness and outpourings of the last few days have reminded us that she also belongs to her fans, to the entertainment community and now to eternities.”
Hollywood Forever Cemetery is the final resting place of stars like Judy Garland, Burt Reynolds, Mickey Rooney, and Johnny and Dee Dee Ramone.

Also buried there is cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, who was fatally shot on set while filming Rust, starring actor Alec Bladwin.
Heche’s cause of death was later determined to be smoke inhalation and thermal injuries and ruled an accident, according to the Los Angeles County Coroner.
