Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Knowledge opens the new series with a touching segment, with a surprise audience with an emotional live wedding.
Dream bride Vicky was surprised with her dream dresses at the end of the first show of the new series, after Covid-19 Complications have previously caused her wedding to be canceled several times – costing her and her partner Nick £28,000.
But the wedding in person does not take place in the studio.
The soon-to-be-pregnant bride had to brave Storm Eunice and take to the sky by helicopter so she could get to her surprise wedding venue in time.
At the start of the show, the TV hosts got to know the audience, dragging Vicky fans down to the stage to chat with them about her planned wedding plans.
Viewers learned how the bride-to-be has seen her plans to walk down the aisle ruined by the ongoing pandemic, with her wedding being canceled multiple times and her venue. She went bankrupt – costing her and her fiancé Nick £28,000.
Then the cameras crop to a live video link of the groom-to-be Nicki – who Vicky thinks is in Miami – revealing a huge secret.
On one knee again, Vicky was informed that Nick was indeed at a dreamy UK wedding venue – with all their friends and family – and was ready and waiting. to tie the knot with her that very night.
“We’ve been secretly planning with Nick and your bridesmaids for the past few months and have gone out of our way to help you get everything from your initial wedding wishes,” Ant told a surprised Vicky. surprised and shocked.
Dec added how her dream wedding dress has been waiting for her, along with all the guests on her list and other important details.
“The only thing missing is you,” Ant tells Vicky, as she deals with the incredible news.
“The thing is, you only have about 45 minutes to get there,” he added, as the cameras panned to footage of a Saturday Night Takeaway-branded helicopter.
Clearly shocked and surprised, Vicky accepts the challenge and heads out onto the set to make the journey to her impending wedding.
Before she embarked on her quest, Ant and Dec gave the bride a cheeky gift – a personalized bouquet complete with a few snaps of their cheeky faces.
After Vicky left the set, presenters continued to examine her journey – at one point the bride would visit the bride to enjoy “a hen in the sky” with her two friends that.
“Guess they planned this helicopter to their wedding before Hurricane Eunice… #SaturdayNightTakeaway,” one fan tweeted, as Vicky and her bridesmaids defied the skies.
Thankfully, Vicky’s helicopter ride ended safely and the soon-to-be bride was greeted by her father, who took her away in a stunning white Rolls Royce.
After the audience watched Ant and Dec play pranks Jeremy Clarkson on his beloved Diddly Squat farm, it’s time to see Vicky and Nick finally tie the knot.
Viewers – and those present – were emotional as the happy couple became husband and wife were broadcast live.
The live studio audience cheered as Vicky and Nick finally tied the knot, after years of failure, and started their married life with the help of Ant and Dec.
