Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Knowledge back with a live studio audience for the first time in two yearswith one guest getting more than they expected on a Saturday night.

Live audiences have been welcomed back with open arms, after hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly had to eliminate crowds last year due to social distancing, due to social distancing. Coronavirus pandemic.

The daring Geordie duo were clearly surprised, as the crowd cheered for them as they sped down the stage.

Later on in the show, a member of the audience accidentally became famous on social media through an encounter with a piece of confetti.

Throughout ITV show on saturday night, prank host Ant and Dec Jeremy Clarkson at his beloved Diddly Squat ranch, as well as surprise a remembering audience with a live broadcast wedding.

But it was a confetti explosion after an awards segment that really got viewers at home talking online.

As the studio audience clapped and cheered as the strips of paper fell on them, a gentleman in a red shirt appeared sniffing a piece of confetti – almost choking in the process!

“Poor guy taking a sip of confetti on #SaturdayNightTakeaway live,” said one viewer with eagle eyes on Twitter wrote as the program aired on ITV.

The Saturday Night show is a welcome back for the live studio audience to the award-winning series once again.

“Hope he’s okay x,” one concerned fan queried online, as many pointed out the awkward incident.

There hasn’t been a live audience for a full series since 2018, with ITV showing in 2019 and then having to drop viewers at the studio for the next two years due to social distancing.

Part of the 2020 series was with audiences, before the hosts had to host final episodes from their homes.

Chatting with Rylan and Alex Jones on The One Show earlier this week, Ant and Dec revealed the return of live studio audiences is what gets them excited about the new series.

The return of Saturday Night Takeaway comes just weeks after being confirmed as the gameshow of the Geordie pair Unlimited wins will get the second seriesthough fans label it ‘complicated’.

While Limitless Win may have divided some viewers, there’s no doubt that Saturday Night Takeaway was an undisputed huge hit with all fans.

Primetime TV has been one of ITV’s most consistent ratings wins over the past 20 years and has won numerous awards during its run.

“Ant and Dec outdid themselves tonight. #SaturdayNightTakeaway“,” one fan wrote on Twitter after the Saturday night show saw cheeky chappies perform with RuPaul’s Drag Race winners Lawrence Chaney and The Vivienne.

Another happy viewer added: “And that’s why @antanddec won so many NTAs. Iconic.”
