Antisocial behavior erupts in Worthing pubs

POLICE were called to a town center after anti-social behavior erupted in several pubs.

Officers were called to pubs in Warwick Street and Chapel Road in Worthing just before 8pm last night after reports of anti-social behavior by a “large group of people”.

Several police vehicles, including a police van, were spotted in the city center, some parked outside The Three Fishes pub on Chapel Road.

A police spokesman said: “Officers attended both scenes to engage with business owners and the group to ensure the safety of the public and minimize disruption to the wider community.”
