Just days after seeing his side beat Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium with a stellar performance, Conte’s Spurs have slipped to their fourth defeat of the year with a shock 1- 0 against Burnley on Wednesday night.

The Italian coach has issued a criticism of the situation he is facing after four defeats in five league matches.
Conte revealed that he will seek talks with Daniel Levy about the team, and himself, saying he is facing a crisis that he has not resolved before and may not meet the job.
And he warned Spurs could have to fight relegation, or finish 12th or 13th…” if they play like they did at Turf Moor.
Conte Fuming said: “Nobody expected this situation, the club, the players, the fans. I came to try to improve the situation with Tottenham and maybe I’m not so good at improving the situation. It’s frustrating.
“This is the right time to see this situation clearly and make an assessment. I am really frustrated.
“I’m not used to facing this situation. I tried everything to change it, but the situation didn’t change.
“I am too honest to close my eyes.
“Perhaps something is wrong. I take my responsibility. I am open. I want to help, not just take my salary.
“Someone has to talk about the race for fourth place but really we have to pay attention not to fight to avoid relegation.
‘This is the first time in my life. Maybe I’m not that good. Spurs called me to improve the situation. I want to finish the season, pay well, but I’m not this type of person. I have ambition.
“I hate losing. We have lost FOUR games in the last five. This is unacceptable. If we keep going this way, we’ll probably end up in 10th, 12th, 13th. I don’t think anyone deserves this situation. “
Burnley boss Sean Dyche was delighted to see his side win back-to-back following the weekend’s win at Brighton.
“ “It’s been difficult all season when it comes to good margins,” Dyche said. Now we’re starting to get into the exact details.
“Everybody is ready to play and accept the challenge. I never think too hard. Not because I’m naive. I believe in the players. When we’re right, we can compete with everyone. Statistically, we were strong during the second half of the season.
“I know what we have to do and how to do it. I have a lot of confidence in my players. After the Leeds game we agreed it was not us.
“We’re focused on us. That won’t change. Every season is a difficult season for us. Nine points out of six games, four of which are ahead of the top four. We have I can back up the performance from Brighton. I’m very pleased with that.”
