Apex Legends Season 15 brings a new legend, map and more

SEASON 15 is here, and like every new season, a whole host of changes have been made to the game.

The new map Broken Moon will bring massive replayability, while the newest Legend will shake up the meta.

A new map rotation, some sort of cosmetics, and changes to ranked play round out the season’s big changes.

Introducing Catalyst: Apex’s latest legend

Catalyst has a number of abilities designed to shake up the game’s meta in interesting ways.

She is a defensive Legend who can protect her team from other characters with Scan abilities.

Her ultimate can reinforce and repair doors, creating bottlenecks for quick takedowns.

The fifth map Broken Moon appears for the first time

Apex added a fifth map to the game that features some fun new mechanics.

It’s much smaller than Storm Point and has a series of ziplines that allow you to quickly move around the map.

It’s also packed with Points of Interest (POIs) that pose some tough gameplay challenges.

New map rotations for Eclipse

Also known as Eclipse, Season 15 brings a three-map rotation for public matchmaking in Battle Royale mode.

These three cards are:

• broken moon
• Olympus
• edge of the world

The requirements for ranked access are changing

In the newest season, there will be more exclusivity for ranked players as the barrier to entry will be raised.

Players must be level 20 before participating; double the previous level requirement.

This means that newer players will need to spend a little more time with the cards before they can take things seriously.

Stickers come to Apex

This is a brand new cosmetic item that can be added to a variety of healing items.

Medkits, Shield Cells and Syringes can all be decorated with your own personal decals.

As part of the update, Shattered and Deathbox stickers will be distributed, and until April 22nd
