Appeal after attempted robbery of boys in St Leonards

OFFICERS are seeking witnesses and information after a 16-year-old boy was threatened and robbed on the street.

The boy was walking in Silchester Road, St Leonards, around 7.15pm on September 24 when he was approached by two teenagers.

One was a thin white boy, about 14 years old, 5 feet 4 inches tall, with short blond hair. He wore a black puffa-style vest with “Hoodrich” written in white and black skinny jeans or sweatpants.

He rode a mountain bike and threatened the victim by demanding that he hand over objects.

The second was a black boy, around 14 years old, 5ft 6in tall with short Afro style hair. He was also on his bike.

Anyone with information or footage, or anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area at this time, is asked to come forward.

Information can be obtained from Sussex Police online or on 101 quoting serial number 1081 dated 24/09. be reported.
