Apple Car ‘revealed’ with a 360-degree rotating two-seat cockpit

Is this what Apple’s long-rumored future car looks like?

A designer has come up with a prototype mock-up of how self-driving cars might appear, featuring a bizarre 360-degree shell that can swing around.

Apple is known for taking its time to perfect projects, so something like this is not out of the question.

The concept, imagined by car designer Devanga Borah, shows one way the long-awaited car could end.

It displays two seats in a rotating block, like something out of a sci-fi movie.

A door will open to reveal two seats, Design Yanko report.

The seat can be reclined for maximum comfort.

The style also takes a very Apple approach, choosing clean whites and blacks, and of course the iconic logo placed on it.

And since it’s automatic, the car will drive itself when you ask it to, doing all the hard work for you, before finding itself a parking spot and waiting for someone else to summon.

While it offers and interesting glimpse of what could happen, we still have a long way to go to find out even the tiniest details that have been confirmed about Apple’s top secret plans.

The iPhone maker has been tight-lipped about its car project for years – and it may eventually decide not to go ahead with it.

For now, we’re told we may have to wait as early as 2028 to get a glimpse of the truth.

The secret construction is known as Project Titan and could see Apple produce electric cars to compete with Tesla.

It is said to have gone through several iterations since 2014, when the company looked at what the future of driverless passenger cars would look like.

Previously it was thought that Apple was working with Kia to make a car.

Although the plans have not been made public, sources say the tech giant is looking to build a personal vehicle to compete with other companies.

Some say the coronavirus pandemic has created a significant delay for Apple, which could spur production of such a driverless vehicle by 2025 or even later.

A source earlier told Reuters that the car will have a new battery that is “next level … like the first time you see an iPhone”.
