The US and Canada will see a similar rise from $4.99 to $5.99.

While Apple has yet to confirm the price increase for UK users, students who subscribe to Apple Music have started seeing the price increase on theirs iPhones and iPad’s subscription sites, according to 9to5Mac.

It’s unclear when Apple made these changes, but reports say they could have rolled out sometime between June 21st and 23rd.

As of 2021, Apple Music has a total of 98 million users worldwide.

While it is not certain how many of these are student plan subscribers, millions of users may be affected by this price increase.

The message comes after iPhone manufacturer tacitly increased the price of its Studen plan in other countries including Australia, New Zealand, the Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Israel and Kenya.

That Individual Apple Music planwhich costs £9.99 a month after a free trial remains unchanged for now.

However, the price increase of the service’s student plan could mean a potential price increase for other users.

Although Apple hasn’t confirmed this, it will be.

The family plan still costs the same price of £14.99 a month in the UK, which includes access to Apple Music for up to six users.
