ANTHONY ELANGA has been full of praise for Manchester United manager Ralf Rangnick after scoring his first Red Devils goal.
The 19-year-old has just started his second Premier League game at Brentford but has put his side ahead with a superb goal.
Some clever moves from the winger helped him get close to Fred’s pass – Elanga bounced the ball up with the first touch before going past Jonas Lossl.
Speaking to BT Sport after the game, Elanga said: “The first touch set it up. I could see the keeper coming in and I just had to head.”
“I want to keep working hard and get more goals.
“I appreciate the boss very much. You can see the intensity we put in during training and can see that if you put in that work, you’ll get the results you deserve.
“The second half, we played our best football. We really pushed it up.
“The first goal elevates the team, then the second and third goals come and things get better.”

Fernandes then turned to suppliers again to get Marcus Rashford past the target – British star finds top corner in style.
And the fierce attack of the bees in the second half of the Red Devils can help relieve pressure on Rangnick, who was shot from several sections of the support.
After the game, the German said: “Anthony Elanga watched the performance he put on at Villa Park.
“He played brilliantly in the second half, made a lot of counter-balls and then scored the first goal.
“But I’m happy for all of our young players tonight – three young English goalscorers.”
