Brittany – who was promoting a high-protein alcoholic beverage business – was in tears when Mike Soutar pointed out a major flaw in her business plan, but she lied to the candidates. when they asked her if she had tears in her eyes during the interview.
Ahead of tonight’s show, Brittany admits the pandemic has been a huge catalyst for her decision to start her own business, as she says: “The pandemic was definitely a catalyst because I’ve always been there. focus on the work that I have, me I don’t really have time for myself. I always knew I wanted to run my own business but there would be times when work would be a little quieter.”
Elsewhere, Harpreet – who runs a dessert business – explained that her entrepreneurial spirit was “the beginning of a later life”.
