Are we all so spoiled? Why I think heated steering wheels are nonsense and a waste of energy

I know dealers here often have to make compromises when it comes to including packages of safety and comfort items in their latest cars.

o You may have no choice but to fit a heated steering wheel.

It can come with a certain level of specification and Ireland may be too small a market to change gear packs at the expense of an element.

But I still think that a heated steering wheel is one of the silliest things to have in a car.

I know people in colder countries like her, but really and truly, have we been so spoiled here that we need to warm our hands at the first drop of snow or a chilly bang?

I do not think so.

I have long thought it was a waste of time and energy (heating) to think about.

It doesn’t impress me at all, but maybe some of you have a different take on the situation?
