Alexis Mac Allister wants to spread the word about the progress Albion is making.
He has revealed their victory at Old Trafford was much discussed among football fans in his native Argentina.
Now he hopes and believes Graham Potter’s side will be widely recognized for their football and results.
The Seagulls have four points out of a possible six for Sunday’s trip to West Ham.
Three of the points this season went to Manchester United in front of a worldwide television audience.
Mac Allister said: “Sure, it’s been talked about a lot (in Argentina).
“I think both in Argentina and other places people are starting to realize a little bit more what this club is, the idea that we have to play.
“It’s very important that we do things well and that people recognize us in England and other countries. It is very nice.”
Mac Allister joked about the game of one win and one goal.
He said: “Unfortunately I scored an own goal out of bad luck.
“But the team feels good. It was an important win to give confidence, kick-start the season and hopefully we can continue like this and continue making history for this club.”
