Arlo Parks becomes Unicef UK’s highest supporter

Multi-award winning singer Arlo Parks has been made Unicef UK’s highest supporter.
His move raised the Mercury Prize and Brit award winner’s support for the charity and commitment to protecting children’s rights around the world.
Parks has supported Unicef UK since 2021, when she performed at the organization’s inaugural Blue Moon Gala at Outernet London, raising more than £750,000.
The musician and poet also wrote a short for Unicef’s report on The State of World Children 2021: On My Mind, which focuses on children’s mental health.
Making her first appearance as a celebrity advocate, she visited a secondary school in Balham, south-west London, which was recently awarded Gold in the National Respect for Rights School Awards. of Unicef UK.
“I feel very proud to be joining Unicef UK and continuing my journey with them as a High Profile Advocate,” Parks said.

Nearly 5,000 schools are involved in creating safe and inspiring places for students to learn, with children’s rights at the heart of their education.
More than 1.6 million children attend a Respect for Rights school in the UK, with this year’s award celebrating 15 years of empowering students to exercise their rights every day.
