Mikel Arteta’s end-of-season speech

Arsenal have received a double transfer boost ahead of another busy summer at the Emirates.

Mikel Arteta and sporting director Edu plan to spring into action in the summer transfer window to further the club’s development as they face the heartache of narrowly missing out on Champions League qualification. The Gunners go into the final game of the Premier League season in fourth place, two points adrift of Tottenham Hotspur, despite still having chances of a place in the top four a few weeks ago.

But they are likely to be close – proving the club needs to be bolstered at the end of the season. And offers for Feyenoord star Luis Sinisterra and AS Roma’s Tammy Abraham may just have received huge increases. It comes as details of Bukayo Saka’s contract talks emerged – including the clause the player is reportedly keen to include.
