Arsenal could bring three ‘world-class’ players to the club for a bargain fee of just £45m this summer.

Mikel Arteta is set to continue his revolution at the Emirates after an incredibly busy summer transfer window last year. The Gunners signed the likes of Ben White, Aaron Ramsdale, Takehiro Tomyasu, Albert Sambi Lokonga, Martin Odegaard and Nuno Tavares for around £150m and could now make up for that with even more signings.

It comes as Paulo Dybala has already revealed his dream summer move ahead of his season-ending Juventus contract expiring. And the Gunners’ Champions League hopes are hanging in the balance after their 2-0 defeat by Newcastle United.

Paulo Dybala has been linked with a move to Arsenal – but has hinted he might prefer to go elsewhere

Three players could arrive

Arsenal could sign Manchester City’s Gabriel Jesus, Paulo Dybala from Juventus and Brazil youngster Marquinhos this summer for an investment of just £45million.

The Gunners face another busy summer in the transfer market and have already been working to find players they are interested in. A move for Manchester City forward Jesus has been widely reported as Mikel Arteta hopes to build his forward line at the Brazilian.

He could be joined by compatriot Marquinhos, a 19-year-old winger who currently plays for Sao Paulo and could be available for as little as £2.5million. And the club could also swoop in on Paulo Dybala who will be available for free once his Juventus contract expires.

Dybala’s dream move

Arsenal target Paulo Dybala has hinted the Gunners may not be his dream destination ahead of a summer move.

The Juventus ace offered an emotional farewell to Juventus fans over the weekend as his contract in Turin expires at the end of the season and the player has announced his intention to leave. However, the Gunners face stiff competition for his signature as reports suggest his agent has been in talks with several Premier League clubs.

But Dybala himself has hinted he would most like to sign for Barcelona or Manchester City.

Newcastle talking points

Bruno Guimaraes dealt a serious blow to Arsenal’s Champions League hopes as Newcastle United clinched a 2-0 win at the raucous St James’ Park.

The Brazilian doomed the Gunners to a costly defeat with an 85th-minute goal after Ben White’s own goal put the Magpies ahead. That means Arsenal will go into Sunday’s final round two points adrift of fourth-placed Tottenham and have their fate in their own hands.

It was a game full of talking points, including Arsenal’s top four candidates, players struggling under the pressure and the Gunners’ nightmare in midfield.
