And his club could be forced to sell in the next transfer window to raise the necessary funds, following a ruling from the Court of Arbitration for Sport.

Aubameyang joins Arsenal
Former Arsenal captain Piere-Emerick Aubameyang has revealed he still has a soft spot for his old club.
The Gabon international has moved his January transfer deadline date to Barcelona after being boycotted by Mikel Arteta following a disciplinary breach in December.
Aubameyang was allowed to continue for free after he was asked to train alone and was left out of the Gunners’ game-day squad for every game following the infraction.
But despite his unfortunate departure, the striker spoke about his “friends from previous teams” as he revealed he still watches Gunners games.
Maitland-Niles’ move is falling
Ainsley Maitland-Niles’ permanent switch to Jose Mourinho’s Roma may not be made and he could return to north London this summer.
The midfielder moved to Italy on loan in January after finding first-team opportunities at Emirates Stadium hard to come by despite Mikel Arteta turning him down a move Everton last summer.
But he has struggled to impress Roma, with reports suggesting Mourinho has identified his replacement ahead of the next transfer window.
And that could lead to Maitland-Niles returning to Arsenal at the end of the season.
Lille may be forced to sell off some of their star players this summer after being ordered to pay millions of dollars to Sporting Lisbon for the 2018 signing of Rafael Leao.
The Portuguese striker terminated his contract with Sporting prior to his move to Lille, but the Court of Arbitration for Sport has now ordered the club to pay millions of dollars to his former club for the transfer.
That means Arsenal could be boosted in their pursuit of midfielder Renato Sanches, who has just 18 months left on his contract.
And Mikel Arteta’s team may be lucky to fill other gaps in his squad, with Jonathan David and Sven Botman also likely to be sold to balance the books.
