Arsenal’s 2-0 defeat by Newcastle United on Monday night all but dashed their hopes of a top-four finish this season and the recent collapse has certainly started to take its toll on the club as controversial decisions eyebrows raised a raise or two by officials and players.
The Gunners are now “considering” the idea of selling defender Gabriel Maghaeles in the summer, which would come as a shock considering the Brazilian has been one of the standout players this season, while child prodigy Miguel Azeez has suggested he succeeds William Saliba’s youngest Loan away from the club.

Gunners consider shock Gabriel exit
Arsenal come up with the idea of selling Gabriel Magalhaes in the summer transfer window in what would be a shock decision after the Brazilian’s impressive campaign this season.
The Brazilian has been a mainstay for Mikel Arteta this season, assisting Ben White in defense after the Englishman was signed from Brighton for £50million last year. The year before, Gabriel arrived after being identified as an ideal target by the Gunners manager after a good campaign in Lille.
Arteta likes to have a left-footed defender in his defense to deal with his style of football by playing from behind, while Gabriel can also select a pass. But it has been a tough season for the north London side in the Premier League.

Arsenal prodigy mimics Saliba transfer warning
William Saliba has enjoyed another full season in professional football and the Frenchman’s choice seems to have caught the eye of Arsenal youngster Miguel Azeez.
Saliba’s loan hiatus at Marseille, where he was named Ligue 1 Player of the Season, has certainly reinforced his claims as to why he should be a regular at Arsenal and unwilling to sit on the bench at the Emirates Stadium in hopes that an opportunity to impress him would arise. And that attitude seems to have rubbed off on exciting prospect Azeez.
The 19-year-old has revealed he wants to spend a season on loan next season. The midfielder told The Athletic: “I want to play senior football all season. Wherever that is, that is the main goal.”

Laura Woods responds to dig and ‘bias’ claims
Laura Woods devastated a Tottenham fan with a brutal defeat after they claimed she was biased towards Arsenal in an intense race for Champions League places, with the Gunners all but missing out on a top-four finish this season .
A callSPORT caller, Nick, claimed that Arsenal’s failure to secure a place in the top four was their “biggest meltdown ever” and that biased towards the north London side, she was even more appalled than he was that suggested Arsenal had a ‘small-club’ mentality and didn’t believe they would be able to compete for Champions League places at the start of the season.
Woods responded with: “I think Nick coming from a Spurs fan would know exactly what a little club mentality is all about. Arsenal are trying to come back somewhere and I think to finish fifth, even if that happens again you’re not going to make me say we broke down.”
