arsenal and Tottenham are only separated by a dot at the top First League Tisch as they face off in the first North London derby of the season this afternoon. Mikel Arteta’s Gunners lead the league with 18 points, while Antonio Conte’s Spurs are two places behind third place.

In the last game before the international break Tottenham beat Leicester 6-2 and Son Heung-min finally found form off the bench with a hat-trick in the second half to seal victory for Spurs. Arsenal are also in good shape, finishing with the opening spell of the season a 3-0 away win at Brentford.

Today’s match will be a furious duel between two teams that are at their best. Arsenal have lost just once in their league season so far – a 3-1 defeat by Manchester United at Old Trafford – while Tottenham are unbeaten with five wins and two draws from their first seven games. Will the Gunners end Spurs’ unbeaten run and stay top of the Premier League?
