Talking to BonusCodeBets Aliadiere said: “I probably like a lot Arsenal fan. I was a bit wondering, ‘God, do we really need to spend £30 million on (Aaron) Ramsdale?’

“But I have to say, I was completely wrong. For me, Ramsdale was the signing of the season.

“He’s been amazing, he’s kept us in so many games. If you think about all the saves he’s made, if he wasn’t there we wouldn’t be near the top four, for me. ”

Ramsdale arrived from Sheffield United last August and has since turned 22. Premier League appearances for the Gunners this season.
