ASAP Rocky sued by ASAP Relli for alleging shooting in Los Angeles

ASAP Rocky is being sued for $25,000 (£20,600) over an incident where he allegedly shot and injured fellow rapper ASAP Relli.

elli, whose real name is Terell Ephron, claims that Rocky, whose real name is Rakim Mayers, swung a gun at him and then opened fire last November.

Ephron’s attorneys argued that Mayers’ conduct was “illegal or otherwise extreme and outrageous” and subjected their client to “serious mental distress.”

It comes as Mayers, who recently welcomed her first child with Rihanna, is due to appear in court in Los Angeles to be convicted of two counts of gun assault, also stemming from the incident.

“Defendant (Mayers) knowingly or recklessly illegally swung a gun at Plaintiff (Ephron),” the document states.

“Furthermore, Defendant intentionally or recklessly caused a bullet/shrapnel to hit Plaintiff.

“In both cases, Defendant’s conduct was illegal or otherwise extreme and outrageous.

As well as the $25,000 settlement, attorneys are asking Mayers for additional damages to cover medical bills.
