Ashton Kutcher has explained why he looks so ‘awkward’ in recent red carpet photos with Reese Witherspoon.

It turns out that Bad mothers Actress Mila Kunis, who has been married to Kutcher since 2016, thinks so too.
Witherspoon spoke about the photos on the US show Today On Monday, he shared with hosts Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager that Kunis had “emailed” the couple after seeing the pictures online.
“She’s like, ‘You guys look so awkward on the red carpet together,'” revealed Witherspoon.
In a separate interview, Kutcher revealed that it was Kunis who pointed out that the photos had been given the “meme” treatment.
“I didn’t see it,” he said of the response chick in the office podcast while rolling his eyes comedy.
He added: “My wife called me. She texted Reese and I together and said, “Guys, you guys have to like…act like you like each other.”
The actor has hinted that he’s in a lose-lose situation as the media has reported that he’s “having an affair” with Witherspoon when they appear to be getting along really well.
“Here’s the thing: if I put my arm around her and like everyone was kind to her, I’d have an affair with her. For example, the rumor would be that I’m having an affair with her,” he said.

“If I’m standing next to her and putting my hands in my pockets, there’s no chance that could be the rumor, the rumor is that we don’t like each other.”
He continued, “Reese and I are really good friends, we’re very close. I don’t have to defend that,” he said.
The actor went on to explain why he looked awkward in the photos. He said that because he’s “hard of hearing,” he finds promotional photo ops, where photographers loudly ask actors to look their way, an overwhelming experience.
“I can’t hear very well because I’m hard of hearing in one ear and can only hear in the other. I don’t know who’s calling my name, but I know a lot of people are shouting. Reese! Ashton! Over here!’
“If you tell me that you’re going to stop making that awkward face in that whole 20 minutes, then you’re better than me and I’m fine with that.”
Kutcher has previously opened up about being angry with his ex-wife Demi Moore after she shared personal details about their time together in a 2015 memoir.
