Fellow pop star Michelle Heaton seemed even more surprised by the news, texting the star: “What? Wow, helloooooooooo.”

Bride-to-be Liz has previously explained how she likes to keep her personal life private after previous celebrity relationships have become public.

Over the years, the Scouse star has dated sports stars like former footballer Lee Trundle, rugby ace Ryan O’Neil and fellow ’00s pop icon Lee Ryan.

Liz dated the blues singer between 2001 and 2003 and even got engaged to him once, but the pair never made it down the aisle together.

Shortly after the newlywed Bad Boy singer popped the question at an Oxford hotel, Liz called it off, later declaring she would never date another famous face again.

Reflecting on the failed relationship, she shared Closer Magazine: “I would never date another celebrity again. I was engaged to Lee and didn’t like it when our relationship was in the spotlight.

“For me, that leads to paranoia. You read things over each other and wonder who said what.”

Liz has previously spoken out about not having children with the “wrong men”.

Liz then went on to explain why she’s keeping her current partner’s identity a secret, saying, “When you date a celebrity your relationship becomes too public and I like to keep my personal life private.”

The star, who currently has no children, also previously explained how she made a conscious decision “not to have children with the people I’ve been with.”

The 40-year-old star explained that she would be interested in adoption as a possible route to motherhood.

“I’m open to adoption and I think it’s amazing,” she has admitted in the past.

“I love the idea that there is a child who needs to be loved and you can give that to them.”
