AT&T announced today Control Ultimate Edition can now stream for free to its customers for a limited time.
As of today Notice“AT&T 5G’s low latency paired with cloud streaming technology helps deliver virtually instantaneous, high-fidelity gameplay on the devices you already own.”
This means Control can be streamed on any AT&T connected phone, tablet or computer. There are no downloads, subscriptions or hidden costs. All customers need to play is an AT&T Postpaid Mobility Plan.
Streaming is powered by Google’s Immersive Stream for Games, the same technology used when AT&T offered Batman: Arkham Knight to its customers.
This service allows players who are AT&T customers to try out the entire game. AT&T hopes this will lead to publishers “taking advantage of the combination of 5G connectivity and cloud streaming technology to offer limited-time game sessions directly from a search result.”
This was announced in February 2022 Google would white-labels its streaming technology to companies like AT&T.
