But then suddenly, the camera cuts across the dressing room at the World Ski Championships, currently being held in Austria.

Fans on Twitter are not pleased, to say the least, and beat Eurosport

One said: “With a score of 5-5 in the deciding set of a brilliant match between Osaka and Anisimova, Eurosport cut through … the dressing room at the Ski World Cup.”

Another added: “Not Eurosport leaving the match against Osaka 5-5 in the third half. Trembling.”

One person tweeted: “Eurosport 2 cutting out Naomi Osaka 5-5 in the third set to switch to skiing (and switch Osaka to its subscription-only streaming service) is a.. . interesting decision …”

Another posted: “Can you believe it -Eurosport stopped reporting on Anisimova/Osaka in the third 5-6 sets – horrible decision.”
