Back 4 Blood’s Tunnels of Terror DLC brings a new co-op mode, more challenging ridden and new cleaners

Today Turtle Rock and Warner Bros. gave us a good look at the first add-on for Previous 4 blood. Synced Tunnel of TerrorThis DLC marks the zombie shooter’s first major content drop since its release last year.

Tunnels of Terror launches on Tuesday, April 12th on all platforms. The expansion will be available as part of the Ultimate and Deluxe editions of the game. It is also included in the annual pass and can be purchased separately.

As previously announced, only one person in the party needs to own the DLC for everyone else to have access to its playable content – although that doesn’t include skins and the like.

Tunnels of Terror is a major expansion that introduces two new Cleaners (characters) and three new Ridden variants (special zombies). Sharice, a former firefighter, is equipped with an ax and some passive support effects such as: B. a bonus to armor plates, trauma resistance and a boost to the health of the team.

Heng is the other cleaner. He also wields a melee weapon – a chef’s knife – and he has the ability to see equipment through walls, sense hive entrances, and allow his team to reuse accessories.

The biggest novelty, however, is Ridden Hives: a new co-op activity that sends cleaners through labyrinthine underground tunnels. There, you’ll face the new Ridden variants, tight corridor fights, and platforming challenges – all for rare rewards.

Back 4 Blood is also getting a free update to coincide with the expansion’s release on the same day. The pinnacle of this game is the No Hope difficulty, an extremely challenging level for players who want to flex their muscles.

We’re big Back 4 Blood fans here. Tom was particularly impressed with how well it controls on consoles, and I came across his map system after spending more time with it.

In our Back 4 Blood review, we gave it 4/5 stars for its careful blend of old-school charm and modern features. Back 4 Blood’s Tunnels of Terror DLC brings a new co-op mode, more challenging ridden and new cleaners
