A USELESS driver parked so badly they could face a driving ban after TWICE left their car on the sidewalk.

Careless drivers have received nine penalty points for messy driving maneuvers – and may soon be saying goodbye to their license altogether.

Police in Birmingham have for the first time fined drivers for side-parking on a public footpath before Christmas.

They then left behind five blue doors with the rear bumper touching the garden wall, meaning anyone who wanted to pass had to venture into the path.

In the latest example of “selfish parking,” the vehicle was discovered lying in the middle of a sidewalk in Bordesley Green on January 6.

With nine points to their name, drivers now risk close to 12 within three years, which would lead to disqualification – and a “day trip” to court.

West Midlands Bordesley Green Neighborhood Police Team tweeted today: “The team is again looking for more entrants for our bad parking awards program and we’ve found one of the day’s competitors was there again yesterday, that’s three other points awarded.

“This car was also a pre-Christmas entrant so we think it now has nine spots – all for dangerous parking.

“Next is three more points for a total of 12 permits – goodbye and a day trip to the court if they choose to dispute it.”

The team previously tweeted on January 5: “We were looking for bad parking and had nominations for the park that it’s like you stole it the award.

“3 point prizes will be sent to the lucky winners!”

And they said on December 20: “We love selfish drivers, they never surprise us with how bad parking is.

“Owners will receive three points and a fine for dangerous parking.”
