This year’s BAFTA TV nominations have run out, with nominations for shows like Vigil, It’s A Sin and Squid Game. People can watch them online on streaming sites like Netflix, Amazon Prime and BBC iPlayer

The nominations for this year’s BAFTA TV awards have been announced as keen TV watchers will be hoping to catch up on the year’s best shows.

The shows are available to watch on multiple platforms in the UK, including Netflix and Amazon Prime Video.

Channel 4’s It’s A Sin has won 11 awards worldwide and has been one of the show’s most popular picks of the past year.

Russell T Davies’ show examines the lives of young gay men in the 1980s as they negotiate their identities and the AIDS crisis begins to haunt the community in horror.

Other shows like Vigil and Unforgotten have won prestigious Drama Awards. Other nominated shows include Squid Game and The Mare of Easttown starring Kate Winslet.

The awards will take place on May 8 later this year, and people might want to find out any contenders they missed in the build-up to the event.

It stars Olly Alexander and Lydia West, who won Best Actor and Actress respectively, while Callum Scott Howells, David Carlyle and Omari Douglas go head-to-head in the Supporting Actor category.

Manhunt: The Night Stalker is now available to stream on ITV Hub and BritBox

Martin Clunes stars former Chief Inspector of the Metropolitan Police of London Colin Sutton in the show’s second series about serial killer Levi Bellfield. It was nominated in the category of Best Television Series.

Bellfield, also known as ‘The Bus Stop Killer,’ was a serial killer, kidnapper and rapist who was convicted of a number of murders including that of Milly Dowler in 2002.

Vigil explores the dark depths of the ocean, as well as the murky world of a Marine murder

With Line of Duty’s Martin Compston as well as Suranne Jones in the lead role, Vigil is a murder story aboard a nuclear submarine tasked with keeping its secrets quiet.

Unforgotten looks at cold cases unsolved and fifth series announced



Nominated for Best Drama, series 4 of Unforgotten is available on ITV Hub and BritBox.

The show is a typical British crime drama and follows a team of London detectives trying to solve cold cases.

Detectives Cassie Stuart and Sunny Khan are played by Nicola Walker and Sanjeev Bhaskar, respectively.

The Korean drama Squid Game has been a huge hit and can be watched online



The remaining nominations include Best Short Film and Best International Program. The award-winning global hit Squid Game has quickly become one of Netflix’s most popular shows ever.
