Police in Italy have arrested a banker for killing an adult actress whose butchered body parts were found in garbage bags on a rural roadside.

The dismembered body of 26-year-old mother-of-one Carol Maltesi, whose stage name is Charlotte Angie, was found on March 20 on a ridge near the village of Palline in northern Italy’s Lombardy region.

Police say she was beaten to death with a hammer.

Her body parts had been wrapped in four black garbage bags after being charred, presumably to disguise her identity.

At 4:30 a.m. Tuesday, the gendarmerie arrested a 43-year-old man named Davide Fontana on charges of aggravated voluntary murder and destroying and hiding a body.

She was only fully identified when a fan of her adult content came forward after recognizing her distinctive tattoos from a police call for information.

Angie was half Italian and half Dutch and lived in the commune of Rescaldina in metropolitan Milan, also in Lombardy.

She had worked as a sales clerk in a perfumery until the lockdowns caused by the COVID-19 pandemic forced her to change paths.

She started uploading adult content to OnlyFans, which was her entry into the world of porn.

Angie was supposed to perform at Luxy Erotic Festival 2 at Luxy Club Milano from March 11th to 13th, but she didn’t show up.

This led to one of her fans becoming suspicious and contacting law enforcement and the press – leading to the identification of the victim.

During questioning, Fontana reportedly admitted to killing Angie in January before storing her body in the freezer and then getting rid of it over a month later by chopping it up, setting the body parts on fire and then bagging it.

He allegedly killed her by hitting her with a hammer.

Fontana is described in reports as a banker and food blogger. He reportedly lived a few houses down from Angie in Rescaldina.

Apparently, he’d managed to evade arrest for so long by keeping Angie’s phone after he killed her and replying to her messages, citing a case involving fellow pornstar Sabrina Ice, who was dating her communicated that she had left the world of hardcore porn.

Fontana’s neighbors reported that young, beautiful women were constantly coming and going in his apartment.

He is believed to have posed as a photographer and offered his services to women, including Angie, who left behind a six-year-old son.

It is not clear if Fontana has already been formally charged.
