Barack Obama’s daughter Sasha is in a relationship with the 24-year-old son of a Hollywood actor.

Sasha’s new boyfriend is the son of Ray actor Clifton Powell, who now works as an advertising director.

Former First Lady Michelle revealed during an appearance on The Ellen Show that her daughter is dating basketball player Clifton Powell Jr.

She told the host: “They loved the Jonas Brothers. Now they bring grown men home.

“Before, it was just pop bands. Now they have friends and a real life.”

Sasha, 20, moved to LA last August after dropping out of the University of Michigan for a course at USC.

It is believed that she met Beau Clifton, also known by the names “Cliff” and “CP3”, at her new university.

He is the second child of Clifton Snr. and Kimberly Crooms, 58, and grew up in the lavish Ladera Heights family home.

Ladera Heights is nicknamed “The Black Beverly Hills” along with Windsor Hills, Baldwin Hills and View Park.

In addition to having an actor father, his mother is a successful businesswoman, running an interior design company called WhateverUneed Designs and a catering company called Chef Kim.

His sister Maya, 29, runs her own hair braiding beauty business called Suga Honey Glam Incorporated.

Clifton attended Village Christian High School in San Fernando, a private school that charges a whopping $28,340 a year and offers “an excellent Christian education.”

According to its mission statement, the school focuses on making religion “a central part of the lives of students” and continues: “It is our desire that every student come to a point where Christ is central to his life and influences every thought they have and what they do. This will equip them to spread His word even further.”

In 2016, 6ft Clifton signed on to a basketball scholarship but later decided to focus on his work in the film industry.

At the time, his father had shared a post on Facebook: “Look at Clifton Powell Jr. God is good he’s officially signed on to a full four-ball scholarship at the University of California, Santa Barbra [sic] !!!!!!!!!”

The 24-year-old has never hidden his aspirations outside of sport, writing in his basketball bio that he hopes to pursue a career as a broadcaster.

Sasha and Clifton strolled around LA together looking carefree and happy.

She wore a low-slung long purple skirt with a purple and pink drop top.

The student also layered multiple necklaces and accessorized them with a beaded bag.

Her sister Malia, 23, also lives on the West Coast after taking a job as a screenwriter for Donald Glover’s new Amazon project.

Malia is dating Brit Rory Farquharson, whom she met at Harvard University in 2017.
