Barefoot and glazed-eyed stars leave the stylish Soap Awards after partying all night

The stars of the small screen were present at the annual British Soap Awards ceremony on Saturday night.

Many of the night’s winners – and losers – continued the partying into the night as some of the nation’s most beloved actors were seen leaving a noisy performance at City Hall. Hackney himself.

Stars from Coronation Street, Emmerdale, Hollyoaks and EastEnders have been cleared to go out – many still holding half-done beer and wine glasses as they poured into the streets of London.

ITV’s Emmerdale was the big winner of the night – winning the coveted Best Soap and a host of other accolades – but that didn’t stop their rivals from joining the celebration.

Corrie’s Georgia Taylor looked in good spirits as she beamed as she shared a joke with her co-stars.

EastEnders’ Jessie Wallace, who plays Kat Slater in the BBC One drama, also seems to enjoy the festival.

The actress appeared to have opted for a more laid-back style late in the night as she kicked off her high heels and walked barefoot on the dirty streets.

Despite her shoe emergency, Jessie appeared to be in good shape and was spotted chatting with a valet outside the venue.

Jessie has exited with close friend Lauren Socha, best known for her role as Kelly Bailey on E4’s Misfits.

Like her friend, Lauren also switched heels for something more comfortable as she descended the London steps in a pair of pink sliders.

The two actresses were seen bonding arms and bouncing jokes as they went out together.

Another star who also dropped her heels after the party was over is Hollyoaks favorite Chelsee Healey.

Goldie McQueen star was spotted walking barefoot on the street after ditching her pointy heels.

Earlier in the night, Chelsee was seen marching the red carpet in her dramatic shoes with co-star Jennifer Metcalfe, who plays Mercedes McQueen.

There was a disappointment for Chelsee the night after she forfeited Best Comedy Performance to EastEnders’ Tameka Empson, who plays Kim Fox.

Another star who sadly missed out that night but didn’t let that stop them from getting into the party mood was Corrie’s Richard Hawley.

The actor, who plays Johnny Connor in the soap, was seen leaving his heart broken, clutching two bottles and holding a cigarette in his hand.

Richard, who left the soap under dramatic circumstances last October, was already gearing up for the scene of the year for his departure.

Johnny’s death sadly lost Scene of the Year to Hollyoaks Misbah Did not Consent the plot of the night.

Richard’s Corrie star Daniel Brocklebank was also seen dining over a beer outside as he scrolled through his phone.

EastEnders’ Scott Maslen was also in good spirits as he gave the camera a thumbs-up from inside the taxi ride home.

While soap legend Stephane Beacham continues to look as glamorous as ever as she heads off to bed at the end of the night.

The former The Dynasty and Bad Girls actress flashed a smile to the cameras from the back seat of her taxi as she rode with a friend.
Coronation Street stars Colson Smith and Julia Goulding, who played Craig Tinker and Shona Platt on ITV, have left ‘do together.
Earlier, last night, Julia took over the red carpet as an opportunity to announce her latest pregnancy.

Country mother Billie Faiers created an elegant figure as she was seen leaving the award in her stunning pink ball gown.

The former TOWIE star looked fresh as she exited the country after partying with the country’s most beloved soap stars.

EastEnders legend Anita Dobson was among those celebrating with the winners of the night.

Anita made a special appearance at a party hosted by Phillip Schofield, where she introduced her on-screen ex-daughter Letitia Dean with the Outstanding Achievement award.

During her winner’s speech, Letitia tearfully said, “Thank you guys so much, it was really overwhelming. I’m so emotional, I love my job, the cast, crew, fans, I love my mom!

“It’s been 30 years since I got into the role, I love you all so much. I lost my dad a week ago, this is because of my dad. I’m not good at public speaking but thank you all friend.”
