Hollywood star Barry Keoghan has landed the lead role in the award-winning Netflix series ‘Top Boy’.

he is a Dublin-born Marvel actor (age 29) among the cast currently filming the third season of the Bafta award-winning show written and created by Ronan Bennett.

The final chapter of the popular series has begun production in London as Keoghan joins the cast of Ashley Walters, Kane Robinson and Simbi Ajikawo.

The show originally aired on Channel 4 in 2011 and 2013 before being canceled by the station but then restarted by the streaming service in 2019.

Meanwhile, it’s been a busy time ahead for Irish star Keoghan, who confirmed last month that he’s going to be a dad for the first time this year with partner Alyson Sandro.

In March, the couple shared a photo from their gender reveal party, showing they were expecting a baby boy together but he declined to comment until last month.
