Bayonetta 3 Farming – how to farm halos to buy all costumes

BAYONETTA 3 has three types of currency, and one of the hardest to find is the Halo.

These are used to unlock items for the chapter select screen, as well as concept art and characters that you can view in the World of Bayonetta menu.

Most importantly, it allows you to unlock costumes for Bayonetta and Viola, as well as additional colors that they can appear in.

However, Halos can only be obtained in certain types of battles, making them difficult to find.

Here are the best methods to farm halos in Bayonetta 3.

Equip the Hammer of Rewards

Just like Lotus Flowers, the Mallet of Rewards increases the amount of Halo’s you earn when you complete a fight.

However, unlike lotuses, you know when a fight will start that rewards halos, allowing you to change your gear right in advance.

This is very helpful when playing on higher difficulties, which you should do if you want to get as many Halos as possible.

Go to the golden lights

There are a number of hidden verses in Bayonetta and many of them will reward you with haloes.

The golden lights give away all halos as a reward.

All chapters have at least one of these hidden verses, but chapters 6 and 7 each have two.

Additional chapters for additional halos

Once you’ve collected all of the Umbral Tears for a chapter, you’ll unlock a side challenge.

Many of them have angels within them who bestow haloes as rewards.

Make sure you collect the Tears in Chapter 3 to unlock this phenomenal Remnant that can be completed over and over again.

This is probably the fastest way to get Halos.

Repeat chapter 9

You can start Chapter 9 from the Treasure Room, a room with haloes all over the floor.

Dashing over these will quickly collect a lot of haloes, and you’ll be rewarded with them every time you do so.

You have to finish the chapter to keep your rewards, but it’s close enough to the end that it’s not too much of a hassle.

Jeanne’s mini game

Halos are given as a reward in Jeanne’s mini-game, which you can play via Rodin’s shop.

You can win big if you’re very good at it, but you have to spend lotus flowers to play.

This is not the most effective method and the above methods are more likely to make you rich.
