The BBC canceled a popular quiz show after just two series.
Comedian Zoe Lyons shared her heartbreak over the cancellation of her show, Lightning, on Twitter.
The quiz show sees players battle for £3,000 as they pass light from themselves to their opponents by correctly answering a question.
Players caught in the light when the timer runs out will be disqualified.
Sharing a photo of her glitter coat hanging on a coat hanger, Zoe tweeted: “Sadly all good quizzes must come to an end but I can’t tell you the joy of working on @lightningquiz for @ bbc2.

“We have done 2 jailbreak series and I loved every second of working with my friends at BBC Belfast. Every contestant is a [star emoji] and you can still catch up with @BBCiPlayer. ”
A BBC spokesman told Daily Star : “Lightning has had two great streaks but we need to make room for new opportunities. We want to thank Zoe and the team for all their hard work.”

Crazy fans took to Twitter to share their sadness at the end of the show, with one tweeting: “What a shame, Zoe. It was definitely a very unique puzzle and I really had it. an audition for the second series, and I thought I might have worn it by wearing it in my Zoom audition… Unfortunately, that didn’t happen, although I did. love your jacket! Defo needs one!”
While another commented: “Oh no, I’m really embarrassed that we won’t get to see another movie. I hope you get another show soon. You’ve got a gig coming up. Any comedy?”
A third wrote: “Really sorry to hear this – it’s a great show, you’re an excellent host and it was so much fun to be on as a contestant. Col (aka Grizzly Doyle!).
