Danny DyerThe EastEnders exit was confirmed in January when the 44-year-old actor admitted he wanted to try different things on his podcast with daughter Dani.
Speaking on his Sorted With The Dyers podcast, he said: “I’m leaving EastEnders. I’m very happy, I’m very grateful, in a way, when you’re in a job like a soap opera, your contract is up for renewal, and every time my contract is up for renewal, they’ve asked me to stay, and I’m very grateful for that, because I’ve seen a lot of people come and go. It is very hard.”
“So I’m always considering re-signing, and I’ve been thinking for a while if maybe it’s time to roll the dice and take the plunge.”
Danny Dyer joined EastEnders in 2013 and has featured in hard-hitting storylines since arriving on the pitch.
