The BBC has admitted there is a ‘technical problem’ with the broadcaster’s iPlayer on-demand service after users complained they were having problems.

The BBC has admitted there are “technical problems” with its iPlayer on-demand service after users complained on social media that they could not access certain programmes..
Locations across the UK, including London and Manchester, were particularly affected as some users feared a ‘cyber attack’ was bringing some people’s services down.
Based on Error alarm setThe streaming service provider has been down for a while, and many people have taken to Twitter to share their anger at not being able to watch their favorite shows.
A message on iPlayer says that some changes are being made, saying: “BBC iPlayer may look a little different today. But don’t worry, you can still watch as usual.”
One upset user attacked Aunt Beeb on Twitter, writing: ” @BBCiPlayer what’s going on with iPlayer again? You expect me to pay my license and nothing will load! Since this is the only way we can watch bbc live, will I get a refund/discount? How long is it down??? ”
While a third joked: “wait, is iPlayer broken? Is it just me? Is this a cyber attack? Have the Russians been to the House of Games.”
Responding to these issues, a BBC spokesperson told The Mirror: “All content is still available on BBC iPlayer, but we are aware of technical issues with some of the usual functionality and we are working on it. force to fix this problem.”

Along with this clarification, a statement on the website reads: “We are aware that some people are unable to locate and play certain episodes on BBC iPlayer at this time.
“Some can’t see their Continue Watch list and can’t access other Personalization features.
“This is currently under investigation and we will update this page with more information.”
