Comedian Michael McIntrye was booked up and kept busy thanks to the BBC. The broadcaster has confirmed that the comedian will be returning to host a new series of The Wheel – as well as revealing another show will be returning after three years off the air.

The BBC has confirmed that we will see more Michael McIntrye on our screens later this year.
Michael McIntyre’s Big Show is returning to the channel, after three years off the air, and the comedian is also set to return to host another Saturday night gameshow series, The Wheel.
The British stand-up comedy and variety show has been a staple of BBC One’s showtimes since it first premiered in 2015, but has been absent from our screens since. from the last series that aired in 2019.
Michael McIntyre’s Big Show’s sixth series will return to filming at Theater Royal, Drury Lane, after the final installment from the ratings winner was held at The London Palladium.
Popular features will return in the new series, including Send to All Fun, the Midnight Celebrity Gameshow, and the Show’s Surprise Star.
After Covid-19 restrictions put an end to live audiences in recent years, anyone lucky enough to get a seat for one of the shows in the six-part series could be in for a surprise all night long, thanks to a brand new feature.
Before the long-awaited Big Show return, comedian Michael, 46, is getting back on the wheel once again, with his new series of gameshows, The Wheel.
Talking about the two shows in a statement, excited Michael said: “Three long years without a Surprise Star, I haven’t gotten my hands on a celebrity’s cell phone, about people sleeping soundly. without fear of me sneaking into their bedroom.
“Well, the wait is over, the Big Show is back and we’ve used those three years to think about bigger surprises and bigger laughs!
“And, as well as being an unquestionably public star on Big Show, I’ll be doing another series of shows that literally revolve around me! Yes! The wheel is coming back too!
“I’m delighted that both shows are being loved and returned to BBC One.

There is no set date for the return of Michael McIntyre’s Big Show but a third series of Michael McIntyre’s The Wheel will air on BBC One later this year.
