TIM Willcox was dumped by his new wife – just two years into their marriage.
The BBC reporter, 58, married Najah al-Otaibi, 40, – a Saudi Arabian political analyst, in 2019 – seven years after his affair with presenter Sophie Long.
A source told Online email: “She is divorcing him. It’s very pleasing to the ear. “
Before that, Tim caused a stir in public opinion after his public love affair with Sophie Long.
He was present at her wedding to cruise company sales manager Will Green in Cornwall in 2010.
A former member of the British Youth Orchestra, Tim even cheered the bride and groom on with his trumpet.
But in the end, an office romance arose between the two and she left her husband two years later.
Tim told his wife of 17 years and mother of four, Sarah, that he was in love with Sophie.
But he and Sophie later split after the movie lothario was linked with another blonde, Tessa Hardy, the estranged wife of telecommunications millionaire Warren Hardy.
He met Najah while she was working in London as a senior analyst for a Washington-based consulting firm.
The couple were first pictured together at Royal Ascot in June 2019.
The Sun Online has reached out to Tim’s rep for comment.
