Springwatch star Lucy Hodson has revealed her glitzy hell.
The TV star, 30, said she was alone on the riverbank when the pervert attacked – leaving her “deeply terrified”.
The white man in his 30s or 40s filmed Lucy as she was birdwatching and spotted a stork on the riverbank.
When she spotted the lightning, Lucy alerted passersby and called the police.
“A man facing me in the river was drying himself,” she said, according to Sun.
“I was shocked and terrified. I always thought I would deal with the situation, but I just froze.
“Mostly because he’s filming me. All I can think of is that my video will end up on some weird forum.
“But then I blamed myself for not calling him out.
“A woman was walking in his direction with a little girl, so I yelled to go the other way.
“I felt the need to call the police as a public place.
“But the description of a white male about 30 or 40 years old in dark clothes doesn’t go very far.”
The horrific sexual assault happened in Tamworth, Staffs, last year.
The conservationist has since used her Radio 4 Clipped Wings program to campaign for a safer countryside for women to explore alone.
“Flashing is sexual assault,” she said. I may not be physically hurt, but it affects me mentally.
“As I was walking home, I saw a man on the footpath and I was scared.
“Then I realized it was my colleague’s husband. I cried and told him what had happened.
“I am still shaking. I spend as much time outside as I can, mostly on my own, but I’m constantly assessing that risk. “
