Beat The Chasers: Contestant wins £60k after incredible performance
Beat The Chasers viewers were thrilled with an epic ending to Thursday night’s episode of the ITV quiz show.
Contestant Gary Hudson won a whopping £60,000 on the show, as he took on 5 of the Chasers.
He believes he can do it, as does his daughter in the audience, while the Chasers aren’t sure he can beat them to the prize money.
Mark Labbett even mocked his shirt as he wore it all, while viewers supported the former TV reporter.
Faced with choices of how many Players to compete with and how much money to play, he decides he has nothing to lose and takes the highest amount on the table.

This means he is facing five Chaser with 45 seconds on their watch and 60 seconds on his watch.
Gary wants to win some money to be able to watch Bruce Springsteen perform all the words, with him being a huge fan.
As he weighed his options, he said: “They’re all great, I think the world of them all but I still think I can beat five Chasers.”

When host Bradley Walsh asked the group if any of them thought Gary could beat them, it was clear they didn’t.
As several of them shook their heads, including Mark and Darragh Ennis, Shaun Wallace was heard shouting, “No chance.”
Gary hits back: “They don’t know me as well as I know them!”
Mark then stroked the contestant, saying, “The shirt tells us all we need to know.”

But Gary got his last laugh as he stormed to the win, and won money with seven seconds left on the clock.
Bradley shouted repeatedly: “Absolutely brilliant” as the golden confetti fell from the ceiling and the audience cheered Gary.
The Chasers couldn’t believe it, but quickly applauded Gary as he celebrated his victory with Bradley.
Then, Mark admitted: “I raised my hand and said I was successful by the shirt. Well played, sir.”
Beat The Chasers continues to take place at 9 pm, every Friday on ITV.
