Bella Hadid tells Vogue she feels she’s the ‘uglier sister’ than Gigi

Catwalk star Bella Hadid has revealed she is said to be the “uglier older sister” than her supermodel sister Gigi.

peaking at Vogue for the magazine’s April 2022 issue, the American model candidly spoke about her childhood insecurities.

She told the magazine: “I am an uglier older sister. “I am a brown haired girl. I’m not as cool as Gigi, not outspoken. That’s really what people say about me.

“And unfortunately when you are told so many things, you just believe it. I always ask myself, how does a girl with amazing insecurities, anxiety, depression, body image issues, eating problems, dislike touch? , intense social anxiety – what did I do to get into this business? ”

Ms Hadid admits she has become a “good actress” who has learned to “put on a very smiling face or a very strong face”.

She continues to praise her work ethic since she was signed by IMG Models in 2014.

She said she “never missed a job, canceled a job” or “been late for work”.

“No one can say that I don’t do my own thing,” she added.

Miss Hadid first got her taste of fame in 2011 in The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, in which her mother Yolanda, 58, starred in the series.

Elsewhere in the interview, she talked about her regrets when she had her nose done at the age of 14.

“I wish I had kept the nose of my ancestors. I think I will grow into it,” she said.

Last year, Hadid revealed her mental health struggles and shared tearful photos with her 47 million Instagram followers.

She said: “Self-help and mental illness/chemical imbalance are not linear and it is almost like a roller coaster of obstacles… it has its ups and downs and depends on two beside.”

Ms Hadid has previously spoken about battling severe depression and anxiety since she was a teenager.
