Bella Ramsey saw a cut to The Last of Us Part II and gives her take on the role

Bella Ramsey has big plans for the future.

HBO’s The Last of Us series has been hailed as one of the best video game adaptations of all time, but there are still plenty of stories to tell, and as most will know, it’s headed in a pretty dark direction. But despite what Elli is about to do, Bella Ramsey isn’t worried. On the contrary, she’s keen to explore the character’s development and a relationship in particular.

Looking ahead, Bella Ramsey told Josh Horowitz on his Happy Sad Confused podcast:

“I’m really excited about the story of Ellie & Dina. I was looking at an edit someone put together. I look forward to playing that out.”

Although audiences only see the beginning of Ellie’s story, the actress is already thinking ahead as the character of Dina doesn’t appear until The Last of Us Part II, meaning fans won’t meet Dina until the show’s second season. Both games have many unique characters that TV audiences have yet to meet and see their real actors play, people like Abby, Dina or Jesse. When the writers do such a good job as they did with Tess or Frank, the fans will be very happy. You can watch the full podcast episode below.

The TV series The Last of Us, created by Chernobyl’s Craig Mazin and video game co-writer Neil Druckmann, does a great job of adapting the video game and is a hit with both audiences and critics. The show has a 96% critic rating and 92% viewership on Rotten Tomatoes and has already been renewed for a second season.
