This is going to hurt: Ben Whishaw stars in BBC trailer

British actor Ben Whishaw has split from his husband of 10 years, Australian composer Mark Bradshaw, as hectic work schedules sabotage their romance.

The 41-year-old Bond actor and the 39-year-old film composer have been a couple since 2009 and married in 2012.

The duo have kept their romance strictly private — the pair only went public with their love affair in 2013, when Ben’s agent confirmed their relationship.

But now the romance is said to have ended with the couple separating – although they are said to still be living together but dating other people.

A source said Post on Sunday: “Their marriage fizzled out. Ben’s husband has told friends he’s dating others.

“Travel and work schedules have taken their toll. They still live together and everything seems to be very friendly, but they’ve been seeing other people for a few months.”

The Mail’s report also claims that “both are now believed to be dating other people,” with the pair still hiding out together at the east London home.

Ben and Mark met on the set of the 2009 romantic drama film Bright Star, where Ben played poet John Keats and Mark composed the music.

They entered into a civil partnership in 2012, but news of their romance wasn’t published until the following year.

Ben’s agent explained at the time: “Ben has never hidden his sexuality, but like many actors, he prefers not to talk about his family or life outside of work.

“Based on speculation, I can confirm that Ben and Mark entered into a civil partnership in August 2012. They were proud of it and very happy.”

Ben recently starred in the BBC drama This Is Going To Hurt, based on former doctor Adam Kay’s memoir.

On the show, Ben’s character works as an intern at an obstetrics and gynecology ward – while struggling to maintain a relationship outside of work.
