Britain’s Got Talent’s hopeful Suzi Wild risked an awkward reaction from some on Saturday night, when her audition aired on the ITV programme.
The impressionist got the judges excited when she imitated some of the UK’s well-known faces, including Loose Women’s Janet Street-Porter and presenter Lorraine Lorraine Kelly.
But one TV star bears the brunt of her comedic act, as Suzy takes aim at former BGT judge and former Good Morning Britain star Piers Morgan.
Fresh from the fact that he hit the headlines after his explosive interview with Donald Trump, which saw the former US President storm, it seems he was the subject of Suzi’s audition .
In a preview clip of Saturday’s episode, Suzy impersonated Lorraine and talked about a fashion set made specifically for Piers.
Starting off as Lorraine, she cheered judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams.
She began, before glancing past Piers: “Hello, welcome back. Mark Heyes has some fashion tips for Piers Morgan coming up soon.
“It’s a blue suit with two main accessories. Tape for the mouth, and a paper bag for the head, isn’t that cool, that’s cool.”
The camera panned to Amanda, who was chuckling at the jihad, while the crowd was equally amused.
Earlier this week, Piers released a dramatic trailer for his interview with Trump, which will air Monday on Talk TV, on Piers’ new show Uncensored.
Piers discussed the awkward conversation and lead as he and Trump clashed over previous remarks he’d made about him.
Trump accused his old friend of being disloyal and dishonest and called him “a fool” before walking out of the interview.
Things heated up in their pre-recorded conversation as Piers addressed his past comments, as well as his thoughts on recent US elections.
But things clearly went awry before the interview began, and Piers wasn’t sure the outcome would continue.
When the men finally sat down, for what is believed to be a 75-minute conversation, the pair clashed.
Trump is said to have left his seat and stormed off after shouting at Piers, before asking to stop filming.
Britain’s Got Talent airs at 8pm on Saturdays on ITV and the ITV Hub.
