BGT fan shares ‘proof’ photo of The Witch’s true identity and claims it’s BBC star

BGT: The witch’s scary action caused Amanda and Alesha to run off the chair

Britain’s Got Talent fans have been speculating about a particular contestant since last Sunday’s episode.

The Witch made Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon scream and gave Simon Cowell a gasp last weekend before she performed for the judges.

The creepy character came down the stairs from the stage to give each of the show’s judges an apple – and asked Amanda: “Do you know why they say beauty’s only skin is deep? Because all we are all rotten to the core.”

The fruit in front of Amanda exploded, releasing cockroaches and worms onto her desk and forcing Alesha to jump out of her seat.

Fans of the ITV show are desperate to know who’s behind the makeup and have been sharing their theories online ever since.

The latest name on the list is a BBC star who appeared on The Magicians.

Taking to Twitter, a BGT viewer shared a short video that featured a photo of The Witch and was later turned into a photo of Pete Firman.

The Twitter user tagged Pete in the post and simply wrote next to it: “hmmm”, followed by the apple and witch emojis.

The 42-year-old magician quickly responded to the tweet and said: “God! I’m so terrified and I don’t know what this has to do with.”

And the user then replied: “granted out of context looks crazy hahaha,” but the Twitter conversation ended there.

Another name thrown into the mix is ​​Leigh Francis, who is more commonly known by his character’s name, Kieth Lemon.

The 49-year-old comedian has played Amanda’s grandmother in the past, applying makeup to play a character in Bo Selecta.

And others suspect it might even be one of Ant and Dec – the people who actually preside over the BGT.

Theories have been widely circulated on social media, with one post on Twitter: “The witch is @lemontwittor or @antanddec.”
