Britain’s Got Talent: Ant and Dec use their golden bells

Britain’s Got Talent viewers celebrated as Ant and Dec hit a golden Buzzer to magician Keiichi Iwasaki.

Judges Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon, David Walliams and Amanda Holden are back for another part of the audition on the hit ITV talent show.

Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly also return as hosts, watching from the sidelines as the contestants gear up their gear on stage for a coveted spot on the Royal Variety Show.

Keiichi took to the stage for his quirky magic trick, in which he got Ant and Dec involved in legal proceedings and stunned the audience when he dropped a ring on Alesha’s finger.

At the end of the performance and with all the songs in agreement, Ant and Dec took to the stage to push the Golden Vibrator into the jury.

Taking to Twitter, one person wrote: “He totally deserves that golden whistle,” as another posted: “The EPIC golden whistle. I love bloody magic. “

Another fan tweeted: “That’s what you call diversity, great golden bell selection.”

But this comes amid news of the Japanese magician trying out the franchise in three other countries.

He auditioned for the show in three other countries, including Italy in 2016, Bulgaria in 2021, and Spain in 2019, where he made it to the semifinals.

Keiichi also auditioned for the German show Das Supertalent last year.

This comes after Britain’s Got Talent viewers last week theorized who they thought might be behind The Witch’s facial prosthetics after her macabre act came out.

The witch came to the BGT stage only to approach the jury and frighten Simon, Amanda, Alesha and David.

The contestant handed out apples from a sack while reciting a creepy song.

Amanda holds in her hand a pristine apple, crushed by The Witch to reveal the dreaded maggots and cockroaches, which litter the judge’s table.

Alesha jumped out of her seat and fled the jury in fear after the insect explosion, saying she wouldn’t return until they were cleared.

BGT viewers took to Twitter to share their thoughts on the creepy stunt, with many guessing who might be under the prosthetics and makeup.

Some suggested that the contestant was none other than one of ITV’s talented hosts, Ant McPartlin or Dec Donnelly.

“I think ‘The Witch’ is Dec in disguise!” wrote on one, as another said: “That witch really looks like Ant in a secret! Haha”.

Another viewer said: “When that witch showed up, I thought it was Ant undercover and I don’t know why”.

“No, why do witches really look like Ant?” suggested by others.

The new Britain’s Got Talent series premieres in April and the eye-popping repertoire has ranged from dog tricks and magicians to acrobatics and dinosaurs.

Familiar faces are back with Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, David Walliams and Alesha Dixon once again on the judges’ bench.

ITV bosses were forced to cancel the series last year because the Covid pandemic and multiple closures made auditions nearly impossible.

In 2020, the semi-finals and finals have been delayed until the fall and pre-recorded, with Simon Cowell being replaced by Ashley Banjo after the media mogul got into a bad accident in the US.

Britain’s Got Talent returns at 8pm Saturday on ITV and ITV Hub.
