Francine Lewis’ husband has reportedly called dating a friend’s partner the “biggest mistake of his life” after his wife claimed on live TV that he had cheated on him.

The impressionist, 46, appeared on GB News this week and claimed during an interview on cheating that she had just found out her husband Joel Ryan was “cheating”.

The mother-of-two, who reached the Britain’s Got Talent final in 2013, claimed he cheated on her with a friend’s partner, which left Francine “devastated”.

Her husband has reportedly denied having an affair but admitted to sending “a few messages” to a friend’s partner, reportedly “desperately” trying to reconcile with his wife.

A source told the outlet: “[He] told people he made the biggest mistake of his life. It wasn’t a full-blown affair, but Joel knows it doesn’t matter.”

They said he didn’t want to “downplay” the situation, adding that he was “desperate to speak to Francine”, although it has been reported that she is not interested.

The source said she considers it “the ultimate betrayal” and has questioned their relationship as they have reportedly been together for more than a decade.

Francine accused GB News on Friday (April 22) that her husband was “cheating”, later recounting that the messages she found were described as “crude”.

Joel reportedly issued a statement to the broadcaster in response to the claim his wife made on live television.

It said: “I did not have an affair and I completely deny all allegations made against me. I sent some messages to a friend’s partner and I deeply regret sending them, but I have not cheated or had an affair.”

The statement continued, “I love Francine very much and I am ashamed for what I have done and deeply apologize for the pain I have caused. I just want to focus on my marriage.”
