BGT: The witch’s scary action caused Amanda and Alesha to run off the chair

With the current series of Britain’s Got Talent bringing more horror than ever, fans are pondering the identity of this terrifying wizard character.

The witch’s performance on Saturday night’s episode of the long-running ITV talent show caused judge Amanda Holden, 51, to scream with fear – while co-judge Alesha Dixon, 43, ran away in fear. off the chair.

The creepy character came down the stairs from the stage to give each of the show’s judges an apple – and asked Amanda: “Do you know why they say beauty’s only skin is deep? Because all we are all rotten to the core.”

The fruit in front of Amanda then exploded, releasing cockroaches and bugs onto her desk, causing the blonde star to scream.

While the stunt impresses and scares viewers, many have considered who the witch’s identity is and who is hiding beneath the makeup.

One early theory suggested it could be former BGT performer Marc Spelmann, who finished second in series 13 in 2019 under the guise of a performer named ‘X’.

However, a new theory has been put forward – with many believing the witch could actually be ITV star and Celebrity Juice host Leigh Francis, who is more commonly known by his character’s name, Kieth Lemon.

Some people believe that Keith Lemon star Leigh Francis is hiding underneath a witch costume

The 49-year-old comedian has played Amanda’s grandmother in the past, applying makeup to play a character in Bo Selecta.

And others suspect it might even be one of Ant and Dec – the people who actually preside over the BGT.

Theories have been widely circulated on social media, with one post on Twitter: “The witch is @lemontwittor or @antanddec.”

Some think it could be Ants or Dec underneath the prosthetic

Another wrote: “The Witch looks a bit like one of Ant & Dec’s Undercover’s disguises.”

And another asked: “Does anyone think the witch from last night #BGT looks like Dec in a prosthetic?”

Fans were even willing to ignore Ant and Dec standing at the back of the stage while the witch was performing, with one suggesting: “Perhaps the video was edited to be like that or super imposing. ???”

It’s not just witches that annoy viewers, but a ghostly ghost also gave viewers chills when the movie premiered last month.

The judges were confused as the curtain pulled up to show a stage set up with a blackboard and a chair when a voice rang out from nowhere asking Amanda to come on stage.

She then sat in the chair, which rotated on its own, and was asked to retrieve an item from a box filled with various objects.

Then a piece of chalk wrote that Amanda was holding a pair of keys – the chalk would move on its own before falling to the floor.

The Phantom left viewers wondering when the current season started last month

And in another twist, it turned out that the key belonged to BGT presenter David Walliams, 50, who looked like he was being tipped off when he realized the key had been taken from his backstage dressing room.

Britain’s Got Talent continues on ITV and via the ITV Hub on Saturday nights at 8pm.
