Big Brother star Brian Dowling highlights feud with Davina McCall saying she hasn’t apologized yet

DAVINA McCall’s feud with Brian Dowling was rekindled after he blew up the phone for not apologizing to him for a Big Brother hit that began nearly two years ago.

Brian first attacked a movie star in 2020 when hosting the show Davina announced he was invited to the show best one time show ever when fans questioned why he couldn’t participate.

However Brian, who was replaced by Emma Willis as Big Brother host in 2013 after two years, says he doesn’t feel Davina is the place to comment and the pair have become a very public row.

Brian now confirmed their quarrel is not over, saying: “I received no apology for what was said.

“I know what happened to me while on that show – Davina McCall didn’t because she wasn’t on the show.

“She resigned and left the show on Channel 4, and she passed me her microphone.”

Speaking about why he was so upset by her comments to a fan about being part of the hour-long special with Davina, Emma and Rylan, Brian added: “I am not comfortable with Davina’s facts because they are not the truth Davina said.

“Those are the facts I have to say, and how I feel about being fired from Channel 5.

“Davina worked on a show on Channel 4. Davina and I had a good relationship until last summer, but things have been publicly said that is untrue and unfair.”

Speaking last year, Brian, the 2001 Big Brother winner, said his clash with Davina on social media felt “bizarre“.

“I was a bit lost because I was quite surprised they were doing Best Bits of Big Brother,” he said.

“Davina, Emma and Ryland had a chat and they talked about Emma being the host after Davina.

“I said, ‘Oh no, I’m obviously the speaker after Davina’.

“There were only three Big Brother hosts – Davina, me and Emma – and I felt disrespected.

“I just came to solve that problem. But I didn’t expect it to go the way it did with Davina and all she was talking about.

“I just wanted someone to acknowledge the fact that I hosted it when it moved from Channel 4 to Channel 5. No one did.”
