Narinder Kaur Says She Didn’t Talk To Brian Dowling

Big Brother series two star Narinder Kaur has revealed that she is no longer friends with her 2001 co-star Brian Dowling, and that they have no plans to reconcile.

Despite being very close and in each other’s lives for almost 20 years, their friendship was over, she confirmed – when she saw targeting him online in 2018.

Their friends have been trying to get them to reconnect ever since, but Narinder reveals “friendship comes, friendship goes”.

Narinder explained on Channel 4’s Steph’s Packed Lunch on Wednesday that they “won’t make up”, as she revealed they had a “big setback”.

Host Steph McGovern asked if she still talks to her old housemates, to which Narinder revealed she has spoken to “a lot of them”, but not Brian.

She explained: “Yeah, there’s a lot of them yeah. I don’t talk to Brian anymore. We had a big flop, yeah.”

When asked what happened between them, Narinder continued: “So much to go into. But you know, friendships come, friendships go.”

As the show’s guests expressed surprise at the news, Narinder hinted that there were no plans to reconnect with her old housemate.

When asked about this, she said: “Yes, it is.”

Steph then asks Narinder if she will make up with Brian, as their friends hope they will, to which Narinder replies affirmatively no.

She said, “No. I know people want us to wear makeup, but we’re not going to wear makeup, no.”

Narinder also revealed her entire time at Big Brother’s house, and he confessed that the reason she applied for the show was “to be famous”.

But she soon found fame the “hard” way after leaving the show.

Narinder said: “It’s hard, it’s really hard… You’re like no other and then you become a household name.

“You’ve got all the press and negativity that comes with it, it’s been really really tough.

“And, of course, I come from the Asian community so that becomes even bigger.”
